The Wellington Primary Care Partnership is made up of a diverse mix of team members, who all bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organisation.
Angie Collins – Executive Officer
Angie Collins has been with the WPCP since 2013, and in the Executive Officer role since early 2015. Angie has worked in the health and community sector for over 20 years, after completing a social welfare degree at Monash University.
Angie is passionate about community empowerment and creating new partnerships to tackle the big picture health issues within Wellington.

Kat Thorn – Health Promotion Coordinator
Kat has worked in various roles in the community health and hospital setting, including in Gippsland, Melbourne and overseas. This includes working as the health promotion officer at Yarram and District Health Service for 2 years, and also previously at the WPCP in 2015, before working as a dietitian in the UK.
Kat joined the WPCP team in June 2018 as Health Promotion Coordinator. Her role involves working with agencies to facilitate Healthy Wellington, our integrated plan for community health and wellbeing.

Helen McAdam – Partnerships Coordinator
Helen has worked in the health and community sectors in Gippsland for over 30 years. In her role as Partnerships Coordinator she works to bring WPCP partners together to develop and implement shared care coordination initiatives to make it easier for all people in Wellington Shire to access health services.
Helen joined WPCP in October 2017 and works Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Gemma Paton – Systems Thinking Project Worker
Gemma graduated from Monash University as a Dietitian, with diverse experience volunteering in the social welfare and health promotion sectors. She is enthusiastic about preventing chronic disease and minimising health inequities through building systems which make it easier for everyone to be healthy.
Gemma joined the WPCP team in May 2018 and works Mondays. Gemma’s role as a Project Worker involves working with the community to create a shared understanding of the challenges to physical activity and healthy eating in Wellington and build partnerships to support health focused action in the Shire.

Linda Hunt – Project Worker – Workplaces
Linda Hunt has taken on the Project Worker position which involves continuing the work of our Healthy Wellington Workplaces.
Linda joined WPCP in January 2018.

Kerry Walker – Executive Assistant
Kerry joined the WPCP Team in October 2016 and comes with a vast array of administration experience. Kerry who has lived in Sale for over 30 years, is enjoying the challenges of working in the health arena.
Part of Kerry’s role is to distribute the Newsletter and Events Calendar which is updated on monthly. If you wish to advertise an event be sure to send an email through. Kerry’s workdays are Monday – Thursday.
